Laramie Braid

This braid is a version of straw-plaiting developed by Shirley Berlin and Carol Goodwin on a long drive across the state of Wyoming (USA), thus the name Laramie. The braid is a ridged spiral made around a core. Instructions are for the kumihimo disk but the braid can be made on the marudai as well. Starting with the basic concept the book guides you on making your first Laramie braid. It goes on to cover the use of beads, cork screw spiral braid, hide-and-seek braid, working with wire, closures, linked warps and more.

Soft cover, 18 pages, color and black & white photos.
