These are the last of these books that we will have.
by Makiko Tada
The title says it all, this really is a lovely book. It is in Japanese and features 31 braids made on the marudai (as always, some can be made on the kumihimo disk). The photos and pattern graphics of the braids are excellent so reading Japanese isn't necessary. Makiko has included several braids that are not offered in her book, Comprehensive Treatise of Braids I: Maru-dai Braids. They are Kasane-Edo, Marukara, Hojo, Jyouku-konkoh-nejiri, Kata-se and Susuna.
