This second edition presents the twenty-four possible two-color interlacements of Edo Yatsu Gumi. New color-count labels make it easier to identify layouts and create samplers, while additional suggestions show how the same arrangements can be adapted to sixteen-element Naiki Gumi.
The book is bound in the style of a traditional Japanese folded-page book, in which each sheet is folded so the folded edge forms the outer page edge, creating thick, durable pages. It is a companion to The Thirty-Seven Interlacements of Hira Kara Gumi.
