A Supplementary Translation of Makiko Tada's CTB 1 Marudai Braids With Commentary

Written in response to numerous requests, this supplementary translation complements Makiko Tada's Comprehensive Treatise of Braids I: Marudai Braids 1 (CTB 1) by translating important sections that remained only in Japanese, particularly toward the end of the book.
In addition to the translation, Michael Hattori provides expanded commentary with valuable reference material, including an explanation of the Japanese weight system (momme), a glossary of terms, and a Japanese pronunciation primer.
This supplement is an excellent companion for anyone who already owns CTB 1 or is considering purchasing the 2020 fourth edition.
