The book includes seven marudai braids and an in-depth exploration of the takadai braid known as Konoha (Leaf Braid). Instructions are provided for the basic Konoha braid along with several variations. The book also explains how to create the Konoha braid on the marudai and includes numerous striking variations with complete instructions.
The instructions are clearly written and illustrated with full-color photographs of the finished braids. Three of the projects use 16 tama, while four require 24 tama. The author recommends tama weighing approximately 200 g.
