Yori-Ito Silk is a two-ply, highly twisted yarn made for karakumi braids. It is also suitable for use on other Japanese braiding equipment, as well as for bobbin lace, knitting, and weaving techniques.
The silk is sold in skeins. Each skein weighs approximately 0.5 oz (14.2 g) and contains about 65 yards (59.4 meters) of yarn.
