Exploring the Braids of the Andes, by Yoshie Aoyagi
This is an inspirational book featuring Andean braids. Yoshie Aoyagi received an invitation to visit a friend in Peru in 2004, which led to more than eight trips over the years to study Andean braids.
She has studied the braids held in collections of several museums in Peru and learned some of the techniques that are still being practiced today. The investigation results and restoration are included.
