Flat Braids

This little book features ten flat braids that can be made on the kumihimo disk or marudai. The zigzag braids can also be made on the plate, although they are not easily worked on a marudai.
The introduction covers the tools and suitable yarns needed, the use of color, preparing to braid, and more. A Tips and Tricks section includes working with a counterweight, adding beads, finishing braids, and improvising braiding equipment.
