Misplace your takadai brake? Cat chew off the knob? We have replacements for you!
This 12" metal brake with a wooden knob holds the takadai’s take-up roller in position while you braid. As the braid grows, release the brake, turn the roller to take up the finished braid, then set the brake against the frame again to keep the roller from unwinding.
