Our Kumihimo Disk is the original Hamanaka Disk created by Makiko Tada and made in Japan. The 3/8" (1cm) dense foam holds threads and yarns securely, helping maintain consistent tension for even, beautiful braids.
The disk is a versatile and portable tool that produces both round and flat braids. It is an excellent choice for designing sample braids, as projects can be set up and completed in a short amount of time.
